Whatever, none can avoid to unplug his IDE technically or using a software. wink.gif
Lets hope that the new version of alcohol will be able to backup with succed a starforce game.

You should use the method which already know:
http://forum.alcohol...showtopic=13836
Also you need an USB2.0 drive. Burn the mini-image into a blank disk...
Unplug all drives exept for USB2.0 drive...Mount and run the cd with the mini-image inside into USB2.0 drive...(don't forget to unplug the other drives)
Or you can use this method:

Good luck!

If a mini-image works from a USB 2.0 external disc drive, could it also work from a USB 2.0 flash drive?

How can i flash my drives??

He means a pen drive (I prefer "flash drive" as well, though). Flash memory on a USB interface. Plugs into the USB port and acts like a removable hard drive.

CODE
Starforce 3.4.x: Only playable by mounting an image through a LAN or by using a backup on an external USB drive( in this case you must disable your IDE controlers or disconect your IDE drives). It is said that mini-images don't work with it- as they did with version 3.3- anymore.

Hi This is my first post so i'd just like to say hello to everyone first. onto the starforce 3 protection, it's not necessary to physically unplug the cd/dvd drives there is a program called STARFORCE NIGHTMARE (V 1.12) that does all the work for you from a GUI, you can get it from :
No external links per forum rules please - Jito463

I use it with TOCA Race Driver 2 (with update 1.2) and a mini-image, you have to make sure that the mini-image is from the same country zone as your game, i have no problems at all running it with daemon tools.

You can also temporarily disable your IDE controlers from the Device Manager.
