Upon inspecting the said package I have removed the link for the following reasons:

A. Appears to be illegal as the contents removes the protection.
B. External links are against forum policy.

No,it is 100% legal, because it doesnt modify any starforce file in any way. it only disbale all Ide cd driver.

The files it installs says differently. I will direct you to those contained in the program directory. Therefore its not legal. Run it at your own risk.

Alcohol-Soft does not support such activities therefore it cannot be posted here.

That is a risk you take when you attempt to use one of these c.racks. That is why Alcohol is the best choice, even if you sometimes have to wait a while for an update before you can make a good copy. But at least you know your system will never get a trojan from Alcohol.

Don't ask that. On most forums I go to, asking for such a thing can get you banned as easily as posting a link to one.

Well, I certainly have no interest in violating any rules, so I recind my request. It is extremely encouraging to see someone official indicate that there might be something in the works...

Well, I honestly don't know what the devs have cooked up for the next version aside from what Pheonix has stated (DPM for DVD, DL support, etc). My intent was to point out that it's safer waiting for a new Alcohol version than trusting some random file that magically "fixes" Starforce.

There is also a free tool called **************
It is perfectly legal, as all it does is disables the IDE drives whilst you want to play the StarForce protected game.
Try googling for it, as I cant post a direct link.

Once again, it contains a patch that is less than legal. As people keep saying its legal I'm going to close the topic as it gives the impression that it is supported here when it is not. Closed.
