The only things i watch on tv are pretty much what shawn watches.... I dont know about you guys but for the most part tv these days is total garbage.

I have adelphia digital cable and let me tell you out of the 400 odd channels we get i could make it with less then 10 of them.

I rarely ever watch tv during the week unless after i come home from lifting at night i dont feel like playing ps2.... ill watch a little king of the hill or some family guy before i go to bed.

These are the only shows i watch.... King of the Hill, Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama, Spongebob, Rocko and some other odd nicktoon shows....

I watch the most tv on the weekends... usually NFL or Nascar races. I dont have NFL sunday ticket right now so i rarely get to see my packers play ( i did get to see about 6-7 games last year though... they aired on national television quite often this last season ) and im feeling them makeing amends for that philly game this year. phillys got one comming from us.

But back on track here, tv these days are junk. I watch about 2 combined hours a week and on the weekends i average about 7-11 hours between nascar or football games and the odd movie on tv.

Myself, I don't watch TV, I just download the shows on BT. Saves time. As for my list: Alias, Andromeda, Blind Justice, CSI, Doctor Who (new eps), Enterprise, Eyes, JAG, Lost, NCIS, Smallville, Stargate: Atlantis, Stargate: SG1 and Without a Trace. That keeps me pretty busy. Though, when did this go from a discussion about a console system to TV viewing habits? wink.gif

Holy Frijoles Batman!!!!! And you ask me where I find the time? Jito do you ever sleep? Dr. Who, is that show still on? I remember watching it when I was a kid I went through 2 or 3 Dr's and then lost interest in it.

Actually there is a bill that will allow you to download TV programs to watch and be totally LEGAL. I would have expected youto know this MAN. Your company could lose money if it passes so I would have expected them to be lobbying against it like crazy right now.

To be honest, I never considered the legal standpoint. I always fast-forwarded through commercials when I recorded them from TV, and all of these are shows broadcast on public channels (no cable or satellite shows). No different than having a TiVo system, but without the monthly charge (unlesss you count my monthly ISP fee). It's entirely possible that TV shows could be protected under the same laws as movies, but that would require more study. One could argue since they are publicly broadcasted, they are public property. Think of it as recording a show for a friend and editing out the commercials for him smile.gif . And yes, Shawn. Doctor Who is still on. They've recently begun airing new episodes. They're on the 9th Doctor, but the word is that next season they'll have to find another Doctor. Still trying to figure out how they'll work that out, since he supposedly only has 9 regenerations iirc.

Ive never considered it illegal but i never do it as the noobs who encode these things choose to encode them as very very crappy low bit rate .avi's.... the picture is so horrible.

I haven't played a console system since the Nintendo 64.  And that, only early on.  PC games are all I need.

My answer is similar. In addition, I do not want to pay extra money to buy a television.

I clicked 'No', then I wanted to click 'Vote', but by mistake I clicked 'Null Vote', and now it says I have already voted. What have I done?

"Null Vote" means that you vote for none of the available options. So you can see the results without really voting, but being supposed to have done so. You see, it's not right to see the results and still be able to vote because then your vote can be affected by them. smile.gif
