Okay. I have read about this here and in every instance the problem seemed to be illegal activity.

This is the situation. I reformatted my C: drive, installed WindowsXP, installed SP2, installed soundcard driver, installed video driver. Then I installed Alcohol120_trial_1.9.5.4327. Absolutely nothing else was done. I still have the same problem as others. If I start Image Making Wizard with the disk in the drive then the Data Type Option completely disappears and the Read Speed is greyed out. Again this is after a clean install.

There are no datatypes for DVD. Only for CD. Just select Data Precision Measurement for Starforce or SecuROM, don't select anything for Safedisc protected DVD's.

All this time I thought it wasn't working right. It would be nice to be able to set the Read Speed.
