Hello,
I decided to try A120% but so far (1 day) it isn't going very well. I just seem to lose my devices in A120. In windows and other apps everything is normal. I even have the virtual drive. But in A120 I have nothing. A120 installed OK, my NEC 4571, LITE-ON 16P9SV and virtual drive from alcohol were present. Now 3 hours later everything is gone. Tried to reinstall, nothing.
Yesterday the same thing happened. Today I reinstalled an Image of my HD I made some weeks ago and tried A120 again, same result.
Am I doing something wrong here?
Thanks.

The version you are using is not the latest trial version, even though it has the same numbering. Please download the trial version from our main site and try to install that.

Thanks, I'll try, but are you sure? I downloaded the other trial 9-9. I downloaded it again today from http://www.free-down...ms/Alcohol_120_
That is the main site? The 2 files have the exact same size but I'll give it a try.

Whoops, my mistake. Read the wrong line.

Can you try to rescan all devices. Inside Alcohol:

Device Menu -> Rescan All Devices (SHIFT + F5)

There may be a conflict with other burning or virtual drive software. What other burning and/or virtual drive programs do you have? Are they working allright?

I only had nero 7 installed at that moment and I don't use their drive. Now I have D-tools installed with no problem. After A120 I installed Imgburn, Burrrn and clonecd and they all recognized my drives and burn without problems.
I uninstalled A120. Maybe A120 has problems with other hard/software, I don't know. It's not working for me that's for sure.
Installed A120 twice and the second time on an almost clean system. And twice the install did OK, I had all my drives in A120 to find out a few hours later they were gone.
It's only fair to say I have dual core optimizer installed. I read about the promblems with SPTD driver but D-tools uses the same and that is doing all right. My system is very stable.
But then again, the virtual drive A120 made was also always present in my system. Only not in alcohol itself?????

Thanks for your time zamiel.

What happens when you set off the dual core optimizer?

Same thing. Uninstalled optimizer and installed A120. No changes.
