im burning a 734.64 MB image on to a 4.6 GB DVD
the program wont start to burn it. it says not enough space for writing process (DVD)
wats up with that

Please mount the image to an Alcohol's virtual drive and check its properties as a virtual disk with Alcohol's CD/DVD manager. There you can see if the image is reported as a CD or a DVD image and its size as a virtual disk( which equals its size as a physical disk after burning it). You can compare these properties with those of the Windows Explorer( rightclick on the virtual drive that you mounted the image to and then click on "Properties"in the pop-up menu) and check if there is any difference in the reported disk size.
It would also be usefull to know the type of the image( e.g. iso or mdf/mds) and from where did you obtain it( I suppose you didn't make it yourself since you does't seem to know if it is a CD or a DVD one).
