After i install Alcohol 120% v1.9.5.4521 and then restart, it starts up with new screen resolution and i am unable to change the screen resolution back. I have to use system restore to roll back before install.I have had a previous version installed and it worked fine

That's odd. Can you please post a full System Report from within Alcohol.

Is it starting up in Safe Mode per chance?

Are you running the latest drivers for your motherboard and graphics card?

i checked my device manager and it seems there is a conflict with one device
Intel®82855PM Processor to AGP Controller - 3341
This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)

If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system.

Some devices can share resources, have you attempted to assign a different resource to the conflicting device?

Have you tried deleting the offending device from the Device Manager, rebooting and let Windows reassign resources?

I've seen that issue at work before, where the Display Adapter catagory doesn't even show up under Device Manager (unrelated to Alcohol). Try reinstalling the chipset drivers for your laptop.

Have you tried to do this? It appears that your laptop simply does not have enough resources free therefore it has tried to share resources between your video and alcohol's virtual drive drivers.

Is there any device that you do not use in the laptop that you can disable to free up resources to see if that makes a difference?
