I believe Jito463 is referring to mainly this post: http://forum.alcohol...showtopic=23848 stickied at the top.

You will need to supply a complete system report from within Alcohol in order to get support in the trial forum. Thanks.

@Kezzboy

I have removed your system report. How were the images made and what protection exists on the original?

Have you scanned the original discs or installation with Protection ID? It sounds like the wrong profile has been used in making the images. Is this a game or an application?

I'm off to work so hopefully someone will be along soon to answer anymore queries you have.

Are these commercial DVD movies? If so, they do have CSS encryption, which Alcohol cannot handle due to legal issues. Though you should have gotten an error to that effect when making the image.

*EDIT*
I merged your two topics together. Please don't start a new topic on the same subject. It makes it harder to respond, and it makes our jobs more difficult. On the topic of which, it's not a good idea to insult someone who's trying to help you. We're both volunteer support team members. We donate our time to help others. We're not employees of AS. We'll help you as much as we can, but sometimes we need more information from you before we can help. That's the nature of tech support.

When you say movie files, how did you create them, did you image them from the origional disc ? can you post your image making log and image write logs

First off, I have no reason to insult anyone. Second this is a support fourm in wich i thought you did work for the makers of this software. also they are not comercial and are not protected....

Now how would i get suport for the software. i have several DVD all by the same maker and all copyied by the same alcohol software at the same time with NO errors. and NO copy write prot. some will mount and some will not..... would i be better off contacting the real suport team for AS????

Please follow what Phoenix has suggested that might help us pinpoint an error in the image making process. Are these file's ISO's, MDF's, Bin/Cue's?

The more information you can supply will make it easer for us to see where the problem might be, do the origional discs load and run.
