Maybe it is a good idea to let users manually adjust virtual drives' speed, reasons could be:

- Some drives may not be able to produce perfect images, reducing speed may remedy the problems when reading from them.

- Some protection schemes may detect the reading speed to verify whether the drives are vritual ones or not, reducing the speed may solve the problem.
