I know there's been a lot of topics on Vista so sorry in advance for this.
I installed Daemon Tools the other day and got it working alright for a day or so but all the sudden it started to bluescreen at startup. After numerous attempts at salvaging the installation of Vista and all my files I had to completely reformat and reinstall. Suffice to say, I do not wish to do it again.
I know that the support team has claimed that the latest version of 120% is working alright, but I want to know if anyone has had any problems with it. I also want to know if the 52% latest version also works under Vista.

If your Vista version is RC2 upwards then yes Alcohol 52% and 120% will function.

If its the retail version the you should sign up for access to the Customer Only forum where you will get priority support. Send an email to support_team@alcohol-soft.com with the email address you used to purchase Alcohol and the desired username and password.

I've got the same problem here. Also with daemon as well. They both worked alright for a couple of days, but all of a sudden, I get a BSOD all the time when I try to use a virtual drive.
I can't seem to find a solution anywhere, so any help would be appreciated.
I'm hesitant to purchase the retail version, if I can't solve this problem first.

I downloaded the updated sptd file, but still the same problem. Here's my latest minidump. I'm not able to find any info on aydnddvm.SYS, so any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I am having an endless BSOD with Vista after installing alcohol 120%.

Next time you might want to boot from your vista dvd and do a system restore instead formatting.

i've vista ultimante 64bit and the drivers of virtual drive can't be installed... i've done a try with manual add with cdrom.inf file but windows can't use the inf file becouse isn't 64bit driver :|...
how to solve it?

Since the OS is 64-bit there must be .inf files for 64-bit drivers somewhere in it. Perhaps in the same folder with different names e.g. cdrom64.sys? I am just guessing since I don't have a 64-bit OS myself( neither Windows Vista).
