Just as the topic description says, I am trying to make a copy of my Windows Vista Business Edition so I can install it faster on multiple computers in a shorter amount of time. I attempted to make a copy from my home computer (because we dont have any dvd burners at my work) , but I recieved the following problem. As you can see, I am running Windows XP Professional, and keep recieving an error stating it is not being able to "dump the file". I also took a screen shot of it saying I might not have enough free space, but as you can see in the screen shots, I have plenty of space left on my hard drive. Thanks for your help in Advanced.

Did you check if it is copy protected? Use a tool like ProtectionID.
How did you make your Image (settings)?

Neither Windows nor Office have any copy protection on the discs. You can copy them with pretty much any program. Are you having problems making a copy? If so, post a copy of the dump log. If it doesn't get that far, then post the exact error message you get.

In your second screenshot the Alcohol's report of the proccess states "Unrecovered Read Error". This means that this sector wasn't possible to be read. Is your disk scratched, dusty or dirty at all? Try cleaning it and then copying it again.

Try changing the control interface in Alcohol's options to the Windows one.

You could try enabling Skip Read Errors.

I'll try dumping a copy of Vista when I get to work, but it shouldn't have any problems. I'd imagine it's either your disc or your drive.
