Hi,
I have an application (Broardmaker) that requires the CD be in the cdrom to run. If I understand correctly I could use alcohol 120 to burn a backup cd and create an image of the cd on a fileshare. If I install alcohol 52 on a PC I could mount the virtual image and run the software without having the CD installed in the CDROM.
Is this correct?
By restricting the number of connections to the fileshare (thru windows) to equal the number of licenses, I can run the software from any PC on the network and still meet licensing requirements.

Depends on the copy protection, but it's possible. Keep in mind that if you're using this commercially you will need to buy Alcohol 52% or 120% (if you want the burning engine), the 52% Free Edition is licensed for non-commercial use only.
