BWA builder lets you read MDS and clean it up and make it "perfect" and remove spikes. I have been looking at my MDS files using "MDS Viewer" that I got from the daemontools website. Some of my MDSs look really nice and tight without any spikes... others are really messy (same drive, at 1X, different games). Should I just give em another read? I heard cleaning them up helps load and authentication times. Is there anything that can clean these files up without having to buy BlindWrite? As in the description, does it even matter? I guess I am just anal about having the "best" backups possible.

I've never bothered myself. The only time I ever have problems is with blacklisting, and that's usually cleared up by YASU or some other such program.

I should say that if this could have solved the blacklist problem, the development team would have already done that eras before.

Nowadays, even Y.A.S.U is immediately blacklisted once a new version is issued. We can easily get the MDS Viewer to analyse in Daemon Tools's site, so can the blacklist companies. Even if BWA builder can avoid the current blacklist, those companies can easily adjust their blacklist techniques.
