I can create a virtual drive, but it takes about 20 times longer than normal, then it doesn't have any drive letter, and when I try to assign it to anything from H to Z, it just dissappears?! Please help : (
Oh, and did you need the system report?

You should really install the actual version of Alcohol 52%, we have actually a Free Edition here: http://www.free-down...2__Free_Edition

If you did as ptolomeus said( and you should do if you didn't) you must now have the latest version 1.9.7.6621 insalled, is it so?

Yes, I have the latest version installed now.
And now I tried to create a virtual drive in safe mode, I couldn't do that since Windows said "problem in device installation" or something like that?

Oh, and by the way, I checked that Alcohol works on my Vista, but not on XP? Strange. But I'd still like to get it working on XP, since I don't really use Vista yet.

The funny thing is that Alchol works on Vista, even though I've installed it on XP and it doesn't work on XP.
The other thing that's been bugging me is that I can't run any 16-bit applications, like installation programs for older games. I know that I've managed to run them in this PC in the past, so I don't know why I can't anymore.
Maybe I should just re-install XP. But would I lose all my stuff and settings then? Sorry for being noobish but I don't know since I've never needed to re-install an OS.
