With the Image Burning Wizard, it refuses to recognise blank DVDs and asks me to insert a blank disc. What do I need to do to fix this?

What is the exact error message? It's possible you simply need to use a CD instead.

There's no "error message" per se. It just fails to recognise the DVD. A CD wouldn't be large enough to burn the file. It's a PS2 ISO.

What settings did you use to make the image?

What size is the image?

It should provide a message, such as "Waiting for disc ....". It would help if you could tell us exactly what it's doing, or what message shows on the screen.

Perhaps the PS2 disk is a DL DVD one?

I justurchased Achol 120and am having the same problem. When I sleect Burn image and insert a NEW BLANK DVD it reports, initialiing, followed by unformatted DVD. Must I use a formatted DVD? If so where do I get the format utility as there isn't one on my PC. thanks

You can open Alcohol and go to Erase Wizard and select "Erase Method" Full Mode[Erase/Format full disc]
