Is it possible that Alcohol could be used in conjunction with a Protection Detector like clony and clone do, so it automatically sets up the datatype box and does the setings for you

I just searching the forum for post this suggest, Alcohol with detection protection included smile.gif

..but, the things you have written... If you use this detector, you will see the protection, so you can make the selection in Alcohol!! You don't need to create the "profile", the seetings are predefined by alcohol in most cases(for not saying all cases), at least the versions of alcohol i've used wink.gif

Sorry for my bad English

Clonyxxl has been discontinued by the developer for some time now so new protections are not likely to be detected by this program in the future as to including a protection detector in Alcohol, this will not happen due to the legalitys of protection detection programs.

If the new beta 120% version is going to have new settings for secrum new and other protections, how can you find out what protection your disc now has as i use clony and if they dont update anymore is there any other programs around that have updates

i would seriously think about a protection scanner in your software !.....

i mean it wouldnt matter what software or version game
or hardware you had !

what happens if the owner of the game wants to back it up and selects the wrong settings then he has wasted a cdr !......................

waste isnt critical there are lots of toturials about but for a newbie thats imposible////////

please rethink about the scanner we dont care about the hardware side of things as long as we no the protection on the cd`

also add into the help file like what clonecd duz a cdr history telling the persion if he has a fully compatible Alcohol burner !.........

i persionaly think you should rethink about a protecion scanner with it you will be even greater than what you curently are at the moment ! with it you will be well on your way to a fully burning solusion

remember you are after the customers and globle public domination !!!

thankyou for reading what i sead and i hope to god you change your mind about this !.....

i think you didn't read well what Phoenix said....

there are programs wich can make that, but are not legal.... for this reason, scouty's web page where closed before they upload last version!!
