[suggestion] use SSL/Let's Encrypt for websites and login

Hi.

 

I would like to suggest if alcohol can use let's encrypt TLS or any other encryption on the main website and the forums.

It will be more secure in protecting user info.

You can manually change the http header to https.

I wonder why it's not applied by default though

I noticed this too, not great when logging in to customer portal. It would be prudent to force https redirect by default at server level and have IP Board settings updated. When viewing the board and clicking links in https they redirect to http with "Oops! Something went wrong!". Most annoying...

You know what, the funny thing is that while I manually go to the https link, whatever I do next, the browser opens the new page in unencrypted mode. This is a huge risk these days.
