Sorry at this point they arent making one for Mac at this time maybe if you can get some of your Mac buddies together and have a big enough group They will program for it. Just not a big enough market for them at this time. Im sorry for the bad news. :woot: :ninja2: :tu:

ohmy.gif I just want to add my vote for an OSX version of Alcohol 120%. I think the market is bigger than you realize.

Yes, I think an OSX version would be great, as there is currently no other "good" solution to burn cds and DVDs besides Roxio's Toast.

I agree. With the mac mini coming out and the 'Halo' effect happening as well, the Mac platform is starting to really grow. I am a windows sys admin at work and just switched to a powermac at home. The earlier you get your foot in, the more you can grow with the increasing market share.

So count this as a vote for a Mac version of 120%

Thanks
Mark

With IBM compatible computers consuming 95% of the Personal Computer market, Macs arenot as large as you guys think. The only thing Apple had going for it was its ease of use, and its wonderful abilty to out peform 32-bit IBMs in Graphic Design. Now with Apple using Intel chips, and 64-bit computers being able to outclass macs in Graphic Arts. The Mac is going the way of MS-Dos.

I would like to add a vote, too. Alcohol 120% is very handy in Windows as it plays by far the most image formats, like BWT (Blindwrite image), I've got no idea how I can mount these in Mac OS X. blink.gif

Honestly, I'm not sure what I'd do with a Mac version. I have maybe three CDs, max, that I can't copy with the standard Disk Utility on the Mac. Copy protection is rarer, and the OS comes with perfectly good disk duplication for regular disks.

Hmm. That said, I wouldn't mind having something that ran on the Mac and read MDS files, and it would be nice to get rid of those last couple of copy-protected games.

Maybe Windows 3.11 tongue.gif

Um, er, as I understand it, MAC's have only really caught on in the states, the rest of us use PC's.

Apple owns about 3% of the market, maybe 5% on a good year. There is definitely no way that there is - or ever will be - as many Macs as there are PC's "in every home".

In Mac users opinion, I understand that big and small are hard to define. Let say 3% is small, but out of 100 million will be 3 million, which you think it can be big.

But the fact is that even Motorola (or IBM or another, I am not sure wink.gif ) gives up Mac and joins the game consoles, so Mac is not important enough in the market I should say.

However since Mac is using Intel, so it is worthwhile to wait for some more moment, and see whether the x86 programmes, including Alcohol, can run in Mac. Maybe then your problem is solved right away. smile.gif
