Alcohol soft should implement auto fast error skip in order to prevent non intentional errors. As in clonecd fast error skip is turned on and off only when needed so it makes it possible to copy cd's that might have slight scratches or dust on them. Fro example when i backed up a cd i had that was protected by safedisc 2 with alcohol 120 % there were some errors a while after the initial safedisc errors. When backed up with clonecd with automatic fast error skip there were no erroneous errors(if u know what i mean) because fast error skip automatically turned off after the initial safedisc errors. I would definately switch to alcohol 120% from clonecd if this feature is implemented in a future release.

Moreover, this so called intelligent detection in mentioned other tool is very fast, burning slows only down to 4x-speed (alcohol 0.1x!!). VERY NICE, would be great to see in Alcohol as well.

thanks
Raist
P.S. how is the process for authoring module? any beta or alpha-releases?? I have no more tools to test except alcohol atm, so i'm really bored
