Click on Next.



In this Window you can choose the Drive you wish to use, the
Write Speed, Number of Copies.

Write Method is DAO and cannot be changed.

Click on Start.



Your Image will be burnt to Disc.



You will receive a message telling you that your Disc is finished click on OK.



Click on Finish.

Click on Next.



In the Next Window you can choose whether you wish to create a new
Folder or add Folders or Files that will be included in your image. You can
also change the Volume label that is set to My Disc by default.

By use of the Date/Time Button you are able to edit the Date and Time Properties
of your image

For this FAQ I will add a Folder and File to the image.



Under the main area you will see the size of your Image in this case almost 23GB
Please note that you still need to have blank media that is big enough for your image
if you intend to burn to disc.

Click on Next.



In this Window you can choose where you wish to save your image to, you can also change the
Image Name if needed, your Image will be created in ISO format.

Click on Start.



Click on Finish, your Image has been created.

Once logged into your account you need to go to Activations





The activations page window will open, to purchase extra activations for your serial number simply click on the “Purchase an additional hardware key activation”



You will then be taken to our online merchant to complete your purchase.

Additional activation key prices are
1 year = 10 euro + VAT
Lifetime= 20 Euro + VAT

You will not be issued with a new serial number your present serial number will now be able to be used on another PC\OS without the need to keep switching activations.

Once you have purchased your additional activation please log into your account here http://users.alcohol-soft.com/login.php and go to the activations page as described above

You will now see the following text “your Alcohol license for this product is valid for 2 computers at a time” This includes a single computer with dual boot OS.



If you have previously switched activations between PCs or your hardware key has changed you may see some none active hardware keys in your account please delete these at this time so as to avoid confusion.

You should now download and install Alcohol onto your second PC\OS when you come to activate you will receive a pop up message



This is normal at this stage please log into your account http://users.alcohol-soft.com/login.php and go to the activations page again. You will now see two hardware keys in your activations box one will be marked as active the other not.



You now need to set both keys to active, to do this use your left mouse button to highlight both hardware keys. Then click on the “Activate selected keys” button

The following window will pop up; please simply click OK as this window has no relevance for additional activation key.



You should now see that both Hardware keys are marked as active

A If you recieve an Error 2 when trying to Register Alcohol please make sure that your Serial Number is complete and that there are no letter, number or special characters in it that should not be there.

There you will be asked to enter your Short Serial.



After entering your Serial please click on next



If you already own an Alcohol account you simply need to choose "Use existing account"
where you will need to enter the Email Address for your account and your password
then click on "Use existing account" your Short Serial will then exchanged for a 114 character
Serial Number.



If you do not have an Alcohol account then you will need to create one, to do this please
enter your Email Address.



Then click on "Create new account"



You will then need to enter and confirm your Password.

You can also enter the following.

Name

Company (if any)

Telefone Number

Address

State

Postal Number

Town

Country

Then click on Confirm and Continue



You will then see the following message letting you know that your account has been created and your Serial upgraded.

You should now be able to Login to your account and download the retail version.

Mark the Image that you wish to burn to disc in Alcohols main window.



Start the Image Burning Wizard.



If you have already marked your Image it will already have been selected, if not
Browse to where you have save your Image and choose it, then click on next.



Check "Burn RMPS to recordable media" then click on start to burn.



Once your Image has been burnt to disc you will need to enable RMPS Emulation.



To enable RMPS Emulation go to Options then Emulation and check RMPS Emulation.

In The Image Making Wizard navigate to the Drive where you have your Disc.



Due to the fact that the Game is on a DVD there is no need to choose a Datatype,.



Click on Next and choose where you wish to save your Image, Edit the Image name and choose the Image format,
Please note: for DVD you can only use Alcohols MDS format.



Click on start to create your Image.



Once your Image has been created you can the either mount it to a Virtual Drive or Burn it to Disc using

QI am thinking about buying the retail of 120%.
What about if reinstalling the operating system.
I reinstall Winxp from time to time to clean everything up, do i then need a need key everytime i do that.

A No you will not requier a new serial number, please be sure to keep your issued serial number in a safe place such as on a floppy disc or CD-R\RW Disc


QI received my serial number from an on-line sales website, but I have some problems with the registration. Why?

A: 1.Please be sure that you have downloaded the retail version from www.alcohol-soft.com and that you have installed the retail version.

2.Please be sure that your serial number is issued from Alcohol Soft.

3.When you input the serial number, please be sure that you do not have gaps and the serial number should be 114 characters long.

4.Please pay attention to your system clock/date/year settings, if your settings are not correct please adjust them.

5.If above methods still cannot solve your question, please send back your serial number and purchase ID# to support_team@alcohol-soft.com and we will check it for you.

Alcohol when logged in to the user section. These are usually the result
of internet providers or software that is not compatible with the systems we use to serve the download.

When trying to deal with this problem please understand that more than
99.99% of our users do not have any problems downloading and that the
problem most likely is located with some program you have installed or
with your internet service provider. We are using a slightly different
method for serving the downloads than most regular download sites to
prevent abuse of download access and this method is a MUST for us to

The common error messages that can occur are :

A:-Go to the Folder where your Image Files are stored.



Choose the Image that you wish to Mount and with the Right Mouse Button open the Context Menu.



Choose Mount Image in the Context Menu then mount your Image in the Virtual Drive of your choice.
