I posted my problem here

{no outside links are allowed}

I know that this is a problem because of spdt (sdpt ?) drivers included in new version of alcohol 52%
Alcohol52_FE_1.9.5.4521 and new Daemon 4.06. Its freezing my computer very often, and also i can't uninstall alcohol 52% uninstaller doesnt starts! And i can't install older version. Now give me some cleaner or sth to delete this driver which makes me nervous and i cant do lot of things :/
Please fix this!
On older version in deamon/ Alcohol52_FE_1.9.5.4327 all was fine!

Are you sure that this is a problem caused by Alcohol? In the thread that you reffer to it is obvious that you had the same problems before. The reemerging of the problem after the new version of Alcohol can be just a coincidence or related to a hardware problem as you were told about VIA's Hyperion drivers. Please boot in safe mode and when a message "Press any key to cancel loading sptd.sys" apears do according to it. If you still have the same problems then they are not due to SPTD. If you don't then boot in safe mode again without pressing any key when prompted. If you don't have these problems again then it isn't the loading of sptd.sys that causes them in this case too.

Ok, first when i had previous alcohol 52% free edition with older sptd (1.25 probably) all was fine!!! When i installed this problems started. Yesterday I reinstalled windows because of this problem and now i have it again because i installed alcohol and later deamon (but deamon didn't installed this drivers any more because alcohol did it). I used autoruns from www.sysinternals.com and disabled sptf driver, and for now all is ok. But i cant use Alcohol now, because:
---------------------------
Alcohol 52%
---------------------------
Loading Alcohol device drivers failed!
Emulation options and native driver interface of Alcohol 52% will not be available!
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

and i can't uninstall it ;/

---------------------------
Alcohol 52% Uninstall
---------------------------
Setup is unable to validate installation.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

Please, give me some kind of cleaner to delete this driver and alcohol from my registry and HDD, i install one more time alcohol without spdt unitll you fix this.
For now im 100% sure that is this driver fault!

Since it seems that it really has to do with sptd.sys v1.29 it would be usefull to give some more information that would help to track the problem. It would be usefull to know your system specifications, your OS( and the service pack if present) and other burning or emulation programs that you have installed. Do you also have Acronis True Image as the guy in this thread from the Daemon Tools forum did?

Whoops, made a boo boo, my apologies.

Have you tried installing SPTD on its own?

And still, are problems on my PC with
Latest version of Alcohol 52% FE
1.9.6.4629
and with spdt 1.35
Now windows don't want to download properly in normal mode. When boot screen is staring too show, loading is freezing and windows won't load. I had to uninstall alcohol in safe mode.
I have VIAHyperion4in1456v, mainboard VIA KT4V with VIA KT400. As I previous mentioned.
/i'm back to the latest stable version Alcohol52_FE_1.9.5.4327 for me.
Please add option to install only software without driver.

hm, ye i recognized it. And i could uninstall alcohol from safe mode, but problems with boot are still with new alcohol. Maybe add option to debug/log all what alcohol do. And maybe if i had any problems next time, crashes, freezes or sth ill send you raport.
I mean all with is conected with virtual drives...
Are you planning free edition of Alc. 120% with ads ?

I don't think so, Alcohol 120% offers to much to be a freeware program and the money needed for its development are the ones of the legal purchased customers.

So, once again. Problems are still, i updated Via Drivers (via_hyperionpro_v510a) to the newest version, and for nothing. This alcohol makes me very nervous.
So once again, i've had problems with Alcohol52_FE_1.9.5.4327 too, so i installed the newest one Alcohol52_FE_1.9.6.4629.
And now if i am exploring files using explorator built in, and when in folder are images (no matter what type it is), all is freezing and - restart. I want start Alcohol52 - all is freezing - restart. I want unmount image, all is freezing - restart.
And still, I cannot uninstal this thing (alcohol) using normal mode and safe mode in windows. Only metod is to disable sptd driver from starting it when system starts (using for example program Autoruns). And when i disabled it i cannot manage the drivers because

and i cannot also uninstall it coz

So, in my opinion you should do something with it. Make second application for clearing all registry rubbish stored by alcohol, diabling and deleting sptd, and tackle with problem about uninstall in normal and safe mode.

If you want I can send you info about system.
Please fix these problems with my mainboard or sth...
I didnt saw option during installation to not install this stupid driver :/
That's all for now, i think that all should be clear enough for now.

Probably because you had it already installed.

Your problem, as you describe it, is clearly an SPTD one. SPTD is not uninstalled together with Alcohol because it may be used by other programs too. To uninstall the SPTD drive you must use the sptd standalone install package from duplexsecure with the remove option.

As for your two quotes:
1)Alcohol's virtual drive engine is based on SPTD and can't function without it.
2)To remove Alcohol delete its installation folder and any relative regisry entries( search the registry with "Alcohol" as keyword). You can first try to uninstall it with SPTD enabled, the fact that you have it disabled may be the reason for your unability to uninstall it.

Yes, its connected with it. But in new version you can add this option to easily delete this rubbishes.
I cleaned all and if i wanted install new alcohol it wanted to install driver, but i canceled it and instalation was stopped. So as you said alcohol cant work without it. But in older version probably 1.9.3 or 1.9.4 this driver wasn't used. And now this driver makes problems in different computers and often. Please work at it.

This drive was intdroduced to Alcohol in order to solve the several blacklisting problems. Some users have problems with it but they are few, however effort is being made- primarily from Duplex Secure who develops this driver- to track and solve these problems.

maybe you should do 'safe mode' in alcohol to run it without driver. Since the driver dont work properly
