Whenever I try to play me games using the actual disc it doesn't work it always says there is no disc in the drive and I can't run any games.
I uninstalled alcohol 120% trial edition. I'm not putting it back on my computer unless it is totally required for me to fix this problem.....
I really need some help on this, would appreciate a quick response.

Do you have any virtual drives remaining?

Do they appear in the device manager or on your bios boot up screen?

Yeah there are drives on my hardware manager but I don't know which ones which
but here they are:
HDS722525VLSA80
Sony UMH-U HS-CF USB Device
Sony UMH-U HS-MS USB Device
Sony UMH-U HS-SD/MMC USB Device
Sony UMH-U HS-XD USB Device
WD 2500JS External USB Device

The drives that contain files still apprear. It's just the disk drives that I can't see.

If your Optical drives don't appear in the bios then it sounds more like a hardware issue. Check all your cable connections.

If those games are protected and none of your drives were able to reproduce the protection scheme then your backups will most likely fail due to failure of authenticating the disk as an original.

Alcohol when installed would provide the necessary emulation in order for these backups to run and now that it is removed...

I only had one game, that I was trying use as a disk.
The rest were never made into images.
Would it fix it if I just reinstalled the software though?

If your optical (CD/DVD) drives do not appear in the bios then no, reinstalling will not fix the issue.

Are your CD/DVD drives listed in Disk Management?

Have you tried booting up in Safe Mode to see if they're there or Last Known Good Configuration?

How do you run in safe mode and go to last known good configuration?

They are options in a menu that you can access by pressing F8 imediately after the hard disk boot.

If they are not try uninstalling SPTD, you can do it using the standalone installer from www.duplexsecure.com. You can also try installing SPTD 1.50 to check if you still have problems with that.

As I said above, are your drives available in Safe Mode. I'm trying to decern whether or not this is a configuration issue or a hardware issue.

If they're not available, have you checked your IDE cable connections?

Where are the IDE cables?
I checked all the wires in back and they're all in there tight...
