Hi guys,

I've been trying to make backup copies of my Warcraft 3 / The Frozen Throne game Discs and keep Originals safe, but keep the images on my HDD for better performance/loading times. Problem is, I've Installed both games and Fully updated both to version 1.21a, then I used Alsohol 120% to make an Image of WC3:The Frozen Throne by doing the Following.

1. Inserted Original into DVD/CD Drive,
2. Image Making Wizard,
3. Datatype - Securom *NEW (4/5/7),
4. Left all little Boxes as Default,
5. Chose MDS/MDF Image File
6. DPM speed 1x (though at 1st, my DVD drive (Pioneer 110D) said it couldn't do that speed, so I used an Old CD-Rom (brand unknown) which managed to do it.)

After the Image was created, I mounted it Alcohol 120% virtual Drive, tried loading the game (The Frozen Throne) and it came up a message "Please make sure your Frozen Throne disc is in your CD-Rom drive, then click on Retry"

This is where I'm stuck at... I'm don't really know what else to try. I could try burning to a Blank CD though I figured it would Probably have the same Problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated smile.gif

Thank You

Thank you for your system report.

When creating the image use High Precision and the lowest possible DPM speed (should be set by selecting the datatype).

Have you installed the game from the virtual drive?

Yup, I used those 2x Settings when making The Frozen Throne Image, but I havn't tried Installing the game from that Image as yet.. I still only have the Original install from the Original Disc. Should I uninstall it then re-install from the mounted Image ?

Thank you

Yup, give that a shot. Some games look for the disc in the drive that they were installed from.

Generally slower the better for accuracy.

This means that your drive is most likely unable to extract the correct DPM
