Would you please tell me the exact full form for ".MDS" & ".MDF" respectively? I'm curious to know.

Sorry but I couldn't get a solution after searching various places:
1) Alcohol Site
It states that "Media Descriptor Image file format(mds)", but no .MDF is mentioned. (support.alcohol-soft.com/knowledgebase.php?postid=14999)

2) Alcohol Forum (This forum)
Keyword "Descriptor" had no result, so I assume no related discussion.

3) Wikipedia
MDS - ".mds is a file extension for a small file associated with a .mdf disk image, used by programs such as alcohol 120% and DAEMON Tools"
MDF - ".mdf, a file extension"
.MDS - Redirects to Alcohol 120%
.MDF - "Alcohol 120%'s proprietary disk image format; also used by Daemon Tools and some other disk image emulators"

4) FILExt
.MDS - "Media Descriptor CD Image File"
.MDF - "Alcohol 120% CD Image File"

However, still couldn't sure about the exact full form for .MDS and .MDF but the definitions are very clear

Thanks but what I want to know is the FULL form of both of them (if there are any). For eg,
JPG= Joint Photographic Experts Group
MDS= Media Descriptor ....?
MDF= Media Descriptor ...?
