Hey i'm trying to make an .MDS image file of a C&C Generals disk and its recording at .1X speed. i forgot to copy the System Report of the previous attempt but it was at 2% complete after around 50 minutes. i tried setting the Device control interface to the windows option but no improvement.

Disc read errors are normal with safedisc protected games, be sure you have selected the correct data type and let the read errors continue they will eventualy stop and the image will be created.

You can try to use the fast dump method but it might not work with the version of SafeDisc used on the game and therefore you will have to wait the errors out.

To use Fastdump

1. Install the game
2. Start Alcohol, goto Emulation, Extra Emulation and enable "BAD Sectors Emulation"
3. Minimize Alcohol and start the game with the original disc inserted
4. Quit the game again, but don't eject the CD!
5. Goto Alcohol again, and use Image Making Wizard to make the image of your game using "SafeDisc 2/3/4" datatype.
