Please try to update to the latest version of Alcohol, if you continue having the same problem please let us know if it happens only with some specific image file format and if you are able to see the mount/unmount options when you right click the virtual drive in My Computer.

Sorry for the late reply... Now it won't even let me install a newer version. It says "failed to initalize sptd driver" or something like that. I tried to uninstall the driver by downloading the sptd package uninstaler from the sptd homepage but every time it says sptd not installed. I Deleted the alcohol 52% folder and all registry entries. I also tried to delete SPTD.sys and the registry entries for it. the registry says there is an error when deleting. sptd.sys deleted sucessfully but then when I go to install alcohol 120% trial, it says "installing SPTD driver" and then it restarts my computer. when i log on it comes back up and keeps installing the driver every startup. so then I got VirtualBOX and installed XP on that. I then tried to install Alcohol 120% on that and it crashed XP. now xp doesn't even start up. I need MAJOR HELP!!!! Please come up with some suggestions or help...
