I have obtained a *.mdf file created with Alcohol120 from a video CD,which was originally comprised of a *.md0 file (around 2GB ) and a *.mds file, but I only have the *.mdf file (2G+) at hand.

Does anyone have a good solution to extract data from the *mdf file I have now?( I can't get the other 2 files.)

Thanks!!!

Where did you get that file from and why you can't get the other two?

Well, actually, this file was *NOT* created by myself, but by one of my family members around a decade ago. the file was read from the disk for backup only, but unfortunately, the HDD that stored the image was broken and only the mdf file was able to be recovered.

What's worse, the original VCD was lost in a move. I have no choice but try to recover this file (even not 100% of all the data)

I am wondering if you have any software solution which deals with this problem.

Try renaming it to .iso and mounting it to an Alcohol's virtual drive, you may be able to open it and have access to the files that it contains.
