Thank you for posting your system report.

What are you trying to backup (Game, Movie, ...)?
Name?
On CD or DVD?
Is it copy protected (look for the scanner ProtectionID)?
How did you make your Image (settings used in the Image wizard maker)?

No, it's standard for us to remove them after viewing. It's still visible for those of us that need to see it, but not for others.

The protection of such a new game is probably Safedisk 4.xx if it is really Safedisk, please search in the web for the Protection ID, download it and check the protection of the disk. Also one thing that isn't clear is if you made the image from the original or the backup copy, in the second case you just lost your time. And finally what happens when you try to play with the image? Do you receive any error messages?

its definately safedisk as i used clony xxl to find that out. i made the image from the orignal disk not the copy and then burnt the image to the copied disk. how do u mean play the image?? in my computer there appears to be an extra cd drive which has the same content within it when i insert the copied disk to the original drive in place. there are no error messages just nothing happens at all either when i click on the icon the game icon or when i click on either of the disk drives..

First, don't use ClonyXXL anymore. It hasn't been updated in years and is completely oudated. Instead, use ProtectionID as Charalambos suggested. As for making a physical backup, Safedisc is very hardware dependant. However, you could try burning the disc with RMPS. Then make sure RMPS emulation is enabled in the options of Alcohol.

The extra drive is the Alcohol's virtual one, you have the image mounted to it, right? You can play with that mounted image. As for your disk copy the only thing it needs is what its name says, just enable RMPS emulation in Alcohol emulation options. You should be able to play with the image as I said, you probably can't due to a blacklisting problem with a recent version of Safedisk. In order to play with the image try disabling your physical drives temporarily in the Device Manager or use an antiblacklisting tool like SD4 Hider. However since you made a disk copy you'll probably be able to play with that.

Just search the web( e.g. with Google) with "Protection ID" as the search key.
