I'll try to describe my problem. I have tried to install Alcohol 120% several times now. Every time I install it wont go past "Installing Alcohol iSCSI Services..." I went to work and 10 hours later it was still there, it looks like it's installing but it never does.

This is all it does:

I forcefully terminate the install via Task manager(end process tree), and I can get into the program but can't get any virtual drives.
Well, how can I get it to full install?

Have you tried installing in Safe Mode?

Are you suggesting that Alcohol 120 needs to be installed in the safe mode on Windows7?

Do you have any Antivirus/adware software installed, please try disabling these and re install, failing that if you have no requirement to use Alcohols drive sharing over a net work you could chose not to install this during installation.

PC_MAN, I had the same issue.

Here is what I did when I finally got it to work, not sure what ended up fixing it:

-Delete everything in "Program Files (x86)\Alcohol Soft" (it won't let you delete StarWind)
-Disable my AV program
-Disable my firewall
-Re-download the software
-Run the install as Administrator
-Did not install iSCSI during the install (that alone was definitely not the issue as I tried that before and it didn't work)

Hope this helps!

Christian
