Not quite - I am getting an error message when starting Alcohol in Windows 8.1.
Loading Alcohol Device drivers failed!
Emulation options and native driver interface of Alcohol 120% will not be available!
Clicking on OK launches the program.

You can not create an image drive because as the error says the Alcohol's native driver interface, which is neccessary for it, isn't available. In order to create a system report click on "System" in the Alcohol's "View" dropdown menu, copy the contents of the window that will open and paste them here.

Could you please try to uninstall Alcohol then uninstall SPTD Layer driver using SPTD installer ( http://duplexsecure.com/downloads ), then try to disable your realtime antivirus or any security software installed in your system and try to reinstall the latest version of Alcohol again. That may fix the problem with native driver interface.

Please try Uninstalling Alcohol and SPTD and then install SPTD from one of the links below depending on your system, and then try re installing Alcohol

Since you are a purchased user you can PM to an admin and ask for access to the customers only forum were you will have priority support.
I did just adjusted his status to customer anyway
