cdroms and sound card question

okay dont know if it can be done or not but i got now 3 burners a plextor a liteon and a pioneer dvr-05 and is there a way to have all three to have a sound. my sound card only has 2 slots a cdin and spdif i have a audigy. i know i might be able to splice the wires to hook up 2 on a same chain but checking if there is other ways. Lots of hellp apreciated.

Dude, I have a Plexto 4012 and a DVD drive and neither is hooked up to the sound card... the audio just comes down the EIDE cable..

That's strange. I have a SB Live! card and I had plugs for all three of my CDROM drives. The plugs were lined up on the outer edge of the card. I would have thought that the Audigy configuration would be very similiar.

otabia i will try the ide. right now i only have two of the 3 hooked up someone said i could not have all three with sound so thanks for the info i will try. smbag. not sure i only see the cd in. aux in, tad, internal firewire, and spdif in.

THANKS otaiba i yanked the sound cord out of my plextor 2410a and still has sound with audio cds. will try that when i get the pioneer dvdr hooked up MUCH thanks

On Windows ME/2K/XP You can turn on digital audio for CD/DVD drives - then You don't need audio connectors.

That's good to know. I need to look into that when I get home. Analog audio is fine but Digital is better. smile.gif
