In a post here I read that Ice is for DVD nuts. One thing I would like to know if Ice will be able to split ISO files on DVD9 to two discs, or dose it just supports re-encoding to a different format. I would like to keep as ISO for [1]: keep the dvd quailty and [2]: avoid the time consuming process of re-encoding.

I am not 100% sure what you are getting at but I am guessing you want to copy a DVD and it spans more than the one 4.7 GB disc?
DVD X Copy should allow you to get an exact copy and will do all of the splitting thing aswell

Ice alcohol can only convert DVD media to mpeg1/2 or avi file now.
