I dont know about anyone else here but the announcement of this new chip excites me. Its 100% solderless and takes very little know how to install. While you do have to open your conlsole the installation is very basic and strait forward. It direct boots every psx/ps2 original import and backup without need of patching and it can be de activiated by pressing L1 while the maching loads. There is alos a new TOXICbios out for it that allows you to play online with ps2 backups ( it allows the chip to go dormant after a set ammount of time ), its flash upgradeable and its kinda cheap
