I have not recorded DVD +R too much, and have never used DVD RAM, so don't know whether the above is true. However I do have some important DVD +R dicss.
Therefore, I should to ask whether anybody has problems with DVD +/- R/RW, and whether DVD RAM is really better.

Never heard anything like that. In fact DVD-RAM is a completely different disc format than the common DVDs, it needs drives that specially support it, it has lower capacity than the common DVDs and in fact it is rewriteable (something like the packet-software-formated CD or DVD-RWs).

So it seems that it is DVD-RAM with super quality rather than DVD R/RW with low quality, and it should not be problems with R/RW. That is all right to me.
