Hi,
I need some advice on choosing the best drive for all-purpose.

I have been looking on a Liteon LDW-411S or LDW-811S. They are not on the EFM list, so I need to know if this is a good choice and are the EFM capable?
I simply want the best burner for backup.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Personally, I would go for a separate CD-R and DVD-R. I have a Lite On 54426s CD-R (EFM capable) and Pioneer 106DVD-R which I have used to backup movies and data. I have found it best to use Ritek DVD-R's as I have had problems with cheaper brands such as BulkPaq.

Its not in the devsupp page but it doesn't mean it won't work or be supported in the near future.
