I am now re-taking the thread! Dolgummed hijackers! wink2.gif

But seriously, I have been playing Guild Wars for a few days now (just finished Dungeon Siege II) and I am VERY impressed. Unbelievably addictive. Love the graphics and the gameplay. One thing I am having a LOT of trouble with is that in combat you of course cannot pause the action to think about what your next move will be. The last few games I have played I have always been able to do that so I find myself pounding the spacebar to no effect often loosing precious seconds. My Necromancer/Monk is proving very fun to play. Now I see what you boys were talking about.... yahoo.gif

Have you met anybody like Tron, Zamiel there? Please say hi to any of them for me. smile.gif

P.S. If you by any chance meet Attila, please greet him for me twice. wink.gif

I haven't seen either of them but then I don't know their player names so who knows! Of course if they want to message me their names I could keep an eye open for them! wink2.gif I promise I wont Gank or Grief them! tongue.gif Not that you can in this game, which is a good thing.

Oh and MaLing, I will definately greet Attila twice for you when I see him next. biggrin.gif

Oh how I know....about the diminished amount of sleep. Sometimes I wish I could just not go in to work and stay home to play guild wars. Cough ###### ohhhh I think I feel a cold coming on! laugh.gif

I can finally understand what all the hoopla was about for this game. Kind of disappointing though, I can't use Alcohol to run it since it actually runs itself from a shortcut on the desktop. Imagine that!

Actually unless you play on the same server its unlikey you will see any of our characters. Let me try to explain:

When you first register Guild Wars you have the ability to change server five times. On the fifth time you are locked in to that server (zone).

There are three zones. Europe, America and Asia (Mainly Korean players I believe). Each zone is broken up in to districts within each given town/city depending on player numbers.

Therefore I am locked in to the Europe server, Tron will be on the American. We will not meet in passing, however you can still chat across these servers. The only way for us to meet is to both meet in the International Districts.

Interesting! So the international District...is that a common area where others can go from different servers? So there would be many people there of different nationalities I would suspect. From there you can go on the storyline quests together or is it just a meeting place to talk?

That is correct, you can talk, do quests together etc. However that server doesn't seem to be all that busy.

You weren't the only one. I will assume that most others in this thread have received similar PM's therefore have taken action to stop them now.

Gold in the game is supposed to be earned, not bought from a website. Any other way is simply cheating to me.

Thanks very much Zamiel.

I mean if he really wants to sell that stuff he should just post on Ebay or Amazon. I've already told him so.

As to the gold being earned Zamiel. I couldn't agree with you more. I would never "buy gold" like that. What would be the point in the challenge in the game? I guess it is meant for people that don't care to get the full enjoyment out of a game by having the satisfaction that they achieved something on their own. So many people always want the easy way out...sigh.

Well I feel the same way most of the time, but when Blizzard deleted my character for inactivity, I kinda would love the chance to power up faster then having to go through the excrutiating pain of ###### an slash killing rodents and such just to get back to fighting Diablo. If anyone has free loot or gold let me know, other then that I will just go back to pushing it off to the side till I am really bored with San Andreas. (still havent finished it yet but working my way slowly)
