It would be nice to have a quick format for RW DVD's and BD's. A new disk tends to be an issue since I don't need to erase anything but I can't just choose to format the disc either.

A new RW disc doesn't need to be formated (it is already formated) except if you wan't to use it for packet writing (e.g. as a floppy disc), which is not supported by Alcohol.
