I have found with file-sharing some "Games Playstation Boot CD - No Mod Chip Needed", "NEW PS2 BOOT CD...Better than any MOD chip!!", etc....
They are iso or cue+bin image (mode 2) for PSX and, if you don't have modchip, you can (could...) play CDR without modchip!

But: Playstation Original CD's don't have some data that burner can't read/write?
I have burned this CD and, of course, don'to go!

Tried one of these boot cd´s for playstation one ages ago waste of a cd as far as i know burnt cd´s will only work with a modchip fitted as that is the thing that emulates the boot sector from playstation cd´s.
