Would it be possible to add bitsetting (between DVD+R and DVD+ROM bit setting) for copying DVD's?

if you have a recent liteon dvd burner e.g. the 811S or the 411S then you can already do bitsetting as the latest firmware allows you to do this when combined with a free tool you can download from the liteon website.
