From what I understand, the error 25001 occurs when the installation detects that driver names are already installed that are the same name as the drivers it's attempting to install. For some reason, a few computers seem to install the driver too quickly and the installer gets confused and tries to install them again and it can't because they already exist. How about this? Give an option to continue and overwrite the existing drivers, obviously with a STRONGLY worded warning and a count-down timer perhaps so people have to actually read the warning before clicking OK. This way, if it is due to a install issue and not previously installed drivers of the same name, they can just ignore the error and continue on.

Or get the installation to completely remove the previous versions(s)?

Addendum:
I've thought about an additional idea before, but forgot to mention it in my previous post. One other option (and this could also aid in dealing with blacklists) is to have the installer randomly generate the driver names (e.g. xxxxbus.sys and xxxxscsi.sys where xxxx can be any randonly generated alpha-numeric entry). Now, one problem I could foresee is Support being hindered because they won't know what driver name was used. Hence, I had another thought to go with it. Have an external program (outside of Alcohol) that could generate the System Reports. You know how a few people (very few admittedly, and they had other issues on their machine) have had issues with even opening Alcohol to get the System Report. This could be run from Safe Mode if necessary and without having to open Alcohol. Just a few thoughts.

You are refering to Dragon X the reason you see "support team" is due to the fact this is how he wanted it rather than people contact him directly it all goes under one heading support team.
