Hello, I viewed the support FAQ and help file and didnt find what I needed. Im not exactly computer savvy so bare with me. I am visiting my brother in CA and well he has this alien software (Alcohol). Therefore I need help putting our vacation videos on a dvd-r. There file extension is .avi. I am clueless on how to go through the process of converting etc. So help would be greatly appreciated.

This is not Alcohol related since Alcohol can not convert video. I will say that there are softwares out there that will allow what you are trying to do. Nero has the capability with the proper plugins. I personally use Boilsoft AVI2DVD to convert these. You would be better off finding the software you want to use and then asking for help on their forum. You will get better help......

For all your conversion needs.......go to Videohelp.com It has all your conversion needs as well as guides on how to do it.
