OK THEN. So after reading most of the posts (skimmed through, may have missed something) here's what I'll say. To play backups you can do 1 of two things. Either backup the data onto your X Box using dvd2xbox and then transfer/create the iso to/on your PC using Qwix. Then burn to a DVD using Alcohol. This is what I do. You can also upgrade your HDD (the stock HDD is 5-6 gb locked, so this means, basically 1 dvd on that HDD) to something along the lines of a 120gb HDD. Then use dvd2xbox and transfer files to your X Box. Your dashboard will usually find these games automatically and then you just start it up through the dash. If you're not sure what a dashboard is, it's a replacement for the M$ dash. So when you start the box (w/o a disc) and you can go play music/check game saves/check memory cards, that program is your dashboard. So putting on a new one and setting your bios to load this dash on default will effectively replace your original dashboard boot with the new dashboard. Viola. Let me know if you ahve any questions. And yes you need a modchip to do pretty much anything listed above. Unless you have an original X Box (first production models) and solder few points to split the bios, but that's a whole new tutorial, so just get the mochip and work your way up from there.

What's the point of a forum that you can’t offer help or direction in.

There is nothing wrong with those links. They do not promote any competing software. They are simply an answer to a question that does not have anything to do with this software so I let them know where to go to find out what they are looking for.

I am a member of this forum just like you. I am also an owner of Alcohol 120%.

And for being a member you agreed to the terms part of the terms were no outside links. It was something that was decided awhile back.

Actually I'm surprised this topic hasnt been moved off-topic since it was noted you cant use the software to do this, and therefore there is a problem with the links. We shall just ask you to abide by your agreement and no post outside links even if it is not competing software. If you wish to let the person know of such places you can PM them or email them the links.

Thank you.
