It would be nice if Alcohol had, in addition to the right click 'mount' option, a right-click 'burn to' which brought a list of available devices.

It sure would. But there should be a confirmation dialog as well...

I have done something similar with Nero in XP by editing the file type for ISO and adding a "Burn with Nero" option. I do agree, this would be a useful feature.
