Don't know much about it. I saw the advertisement for it but do not know what format the games are in. Is it a cartridge?

I haven't played a console system since the Nintendo 64. And that, only early on. PC games are all I need.

appearantly, it is using mini dvd with cover and called it UDM, however, we can store music and video on the memory stick duo and play on the PSP.

Its actually a UMD and it does look wrather nice however they almost doubled the price at the last moment..... EB games had the value packs with 3 games, the head set, memory stick, carrying case, cleaing stuff, rechargeable battery, unit, spiderman 2 UMD and some other stuff and the total was 250... now that packages is 3.99 at best.

If not for the 250$ tag on the unit itself id look at it but i just put that 85$ DMS4 EZI PRO in my ps2 and it works wonderfully so ill mess with it before I pay 400 bucks for that.

Now i can import the new Alerted Beast and play it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It would be nice for a full review and your thoughts TY, i wana know if you think it was worth the money and how its measures up to the ps2.

Well I went a played it for about 30 mins. Had a blast and my wife asked me one question twoo two when are you going to play it and if you are getting it for the DVD play back on trips why not get the portable DVD. that right there blew it all to heck. ITs funn feels good overall like everyone else the analog stick is a bit in the wrong place. but the screen FEELS HUGE. the graphic are very nice. feel like 90% of a PS2. if you know youll be playing it alot I say go for it.

Im still tossing this idea around... Im makeing a good bit of money now thats lets just say all profit. So depending on whatever else i blow it on the PSP might be more within reason now. Im just now hearing of this dead pixel deal however and its got me thinking....

For those of you that know you need to create five different color pictures ( that are solid color ) and load them into the psp via mem stick and view them to test for dead pixles.... the best colors are black, red, blue, green, and white. Then while their loaded and on the psp screen look for pixles that arnt white.

Yes, I'll get one later on when more games come out for it that I want. (there's only two..maybe 3 games if you count Lumines that I actually want for PSP). Not worth the $250 price tag for now. Maybe later I'll have some Best Buy cards to use to reduce the price or I'll find a nice used one.

Ewww... used consoles. Ill never buy a used console even if its only half price. You have no idea whats been done to them, like yesterday when i was at walmart... they had a nintendo ds on display with a game in it so you could like test it out, some kid like 7 or 8 was litterley gouging his finger into the touch screen.

Every console ive ever bought was brand new.. and the only one ive ever modded was my ps2. I had my psx apart a few times but never had the won tons to attempt a solder install. I would now as its only 8-9 wires and the solder points are somewhat bigger then on the ps2. But hey whatever floats your boat... oh and

who here seen the golden psp episode of south park... omg halirous

Yeah it was freakin funny. They ripped off "The Last Starfighter" and added in the Schiavo case.

BigTy you need to get TIVO so you won't miss such things. Tivo Rocks, I just wish I could get it to transfer to another cable company with the NFL Sunday Ticket.

Not if I have my say so. The only pop up I get it the basic Tivo question whether I would like to record something or not. Like When I see a Simpson's comercial it asks if I would like to record that episode. I always say no since it is on the season pass already, along with SouthPark, Robot Chicken, and a few other programs. For those who get the Cartoon Network you need to check out Robot Chicken, it's 15 long no comercials and has Seth Green in it.
