Yeah but he still made atleast 26,500 off of it. Granted he's going to go sit in jail for 9 months, but all that money gets intrest.

I dunno about you, but given a choice between loosing 26,500 or keeping it and spending 9 months in Jail with Bubba and God knows who else as your "bunk mate" I would take the losing $26,500 any day of the week!

Yeah different country different jails, over here in the US I would think due to the nature it would be a federal crime, so he would go to Club Fed. I would take Club Fed for 9 months easy.

Except in the link it said he goes to jail for 9 months, period. If he refuses to pay back the money, then he gets an additional 2 years on his sentence. So if he did not pay it back, he gets 2 years, 9 months in prison.
