When deleting an image also delete the log file.

Add another option to the image making wizard "auto mount after creation". When checked the image is mounted on the first unused drive after creation.

When you right click on an image and select Mount it gives a list of drive letters - it would be better if it also give the name of any images mounted on the drive, or even just an indication that something was mounted.
