I was wondering if there was any way to be able to emulate dvds on using the virtual drive. I burned a game on a dvd disc onto my computer, but it isn't working. Is there any way to make a virtual dvd drive?

The virtual drives of Alcohol are for both CDs and DVDs. To make a working image of a movie DVD and play it mounted on an Alcohol's virtual drive you must use a suitable program to remove the CSS protection that it has( Alcohol doesn't do it due to legal issues). The image that you made of your game( if I understood correct what you did) probably doesn't work because it is copy protected. Alcohol can bypass most of the copy protections by using the right settings when making a disk image( in some case the use of a free third party software is also needed due to copy protections blacklisting Alcohol in order to disable these blacklistings).

Alcohol wasn't able to make a disk image of it, because whenever I put the disk in my physical drive, it wouldn't read the disc at all. I had to use another program to rip the iso onto my computer.

Please post a complete system report from within Alcohol and information on how you created the image and what it is an image of.
