I tried installing an old trial that I had on my old computer, on my new laptop. (ver. 120.1.4.3.410 I think?)

I got a blue screen stop error crash, and couldn't finish the install, so I downloaded the new trial and it installed, but ever since I put the old one on, I keep getting this error about finding an AXSAKI SCSI Controller. It won't go away. I've tried installing and uninstalling both trials several times (the old one just crashes every time) and I've also tried removing the device driver in the device manager (which only causes the system to crash, but doesn't remove anything). I don't know what to do.

I don't really use Alcohol much, which is why I have the trial only, but I'm willing to upgrade if someone can just tell me how to get my laptop to stop finding this darn AXSAKI SCSI Controller and stop trying (and failing) to install it. It's a brand new laptop (just got it yesterday) and this is very frustrating.

try

Go to control panels/system/hardware/device manager, find under "SCSI and RAID controllers" the Alcohol SCSI controller from the previous version, and remove it.

All Alcohol drives will disappear. Normally this happens automatically when you uninstall alcohol, unless at the uninstallation time you still had some image mounted.

Also remove Plug and Play Bios Extension from System Devices. and if needed the Virtual Drive Drivers from the Windows/System32/Drivers Folder.
