Hello,

I have downloaded the trial version of Alcohol 120%,

on the install i get " Failed Calling; Get Last Error = 32 "
In a small pop-up box, Then it closes the install.

I have tried downloading from various sites hoping its just a problem with alcohol-soft one.

But seems to all do the same.

please can someone try and help me with this problem.

Thanks

Lewis

What OS are you trying to install on?

Are you installing with Admin privileges?

Please try:

To manually remove Alcohol, please adopt following steps:
1.Run"regedit"
2.Find "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{E9F81423-211E-46B6-9AE0-38568BC5CF6F}", then delete that.
3.Find "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\32418F9EE1126B64A90E8365B85CFCF6", then delete that.

Then to remove Alcohol driver you need to start Regedit then go to HKey_Local_Machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Services here you should find the Keys for the Alcohol Driver in version 1.9.2.1705, 1.9.5.2722 or 1.9.5.2802 a347scsi and a347bus, or in version 1.9.5.3105 vax347s and vax347b, delete these Keys and remove corresponding files from Windows\System32\Drivers folder.

Re boot your PC.

I have the same problem using Windows XP Pro SP2. How do I manually remove 1.9.5.4521 version?

One post is enough, don't triplepost please. Did you have an older version of Alcohol installed? If yes then try the solution described in this thread. If no then try to install Alcohol in safe mode.
