I'm not 100% here if Alcohol 120% can do this but I thought it could...

I'm trying to emulate a CDRW so I can take my iTunes (which I DO own) and burn them to my hard-drive so I can play them outside of the iTunes software (new version is awful). The software installed just fine and I can add Virtual Drives as needed but they are all CD/DVD drives and now RW. So yeah, just wondering if this can be done and how to go about doing it. I DO plan on buying this BTW because I would just love to play a few games without the CD...neat stuff!

Sorry, Alcohol does not provide a virtual CDRW. Your best bet would be to search Google for "Virtual CDRW" and see what you come up with. I believe there may be one on the market, but they are few and far between.

Alternatively you could use an image creator such as WinISO, create an image, mount or burn it in Alcohol.

Hmm, I was hoping. I found "Original CDRW" which states that it's a CDRW but WinXp only recognizes it as a CD drive and according to other Google posts I've seen that their support isn't really anything to write home about.

I just want to get rid of iTunes and not lose the money I spent while not spending 6 hours burning 16 songs at a time, lol. Thanks for the answer though.
